Steve Horner is a retired police officer with 32 years of experience in a variety of assignments.  He spent his full career with York Regional Police.  He joined the York Region CISM Team in 1997 and remains a member to this day.  

In retirement, Steve is continuing his work in the Peer Support field by delivering training under the ICISF model, and Living Works Suicide Intervention training.

Steve also consults with organizations who seek to start peer support or critical incident stress management programs.  Steve has recently joined the team at Keel Mind and will be pleased to discuss their free peer support tool with you.  Read more about Steve here…
